Senate picks AECOM design for the new Senate Building 

The planned transfer of the Senate to Fort Bonifacio is making progress, after the Senate of the philippines  and the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) chose the AECOM design for its new building that will rise in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig. 

Senate Resolution 748, confirming the winner of the Global Conceptual Design Competition for the new Philippine Senate, was introduced by Senators Panfilo Lacson, Senate Majority Leader Juan Miguel "Migz" Zubiri, , JV Ejercito, Francis "Chiz" Escudero, Cynthia Villar , Gregorio Honasan II, Sherwin Gatchalian, Joel Villanueva and Nancy Binay, Loren Legarda.
